Basic Info
Name:Gig
Bio
YOUR NAME: Grif
YOUR LIVEJOURNAL: [info]grfstar
AIM SCREENNAME: Clefiea
OTHER IM CLIENTS?: clefieam@hotmail.com (MSN)
HAVE YOU ROLEPLAYED BEFORE?: No, I haven't ---*cough* I mean yes >.>;;

CHARACTER'S NAME: Gig (Vigilance)
CHARACTER'S LIVEJOURNAL: [info]masterof_death
AGE: Old. Somewhere between a couple hundreds to a couple thousands, it's anyone's guess. In appearance though, possibly 20s-ish?
FANDOM: Soul Nomad(Soul Cradle) and the World Eaters
FROM WHAT TIME PERIOD?: Post game, very very mildly "AUed" since all godly powers are still in tact, just have been extremely nerfed down to level one-ness
SEX: Male
ORIGINAL LEVEL: Higher than yours
PLAYED BY: Himself, because Gig needs no stunt double
WEAPON OF CHOICE: Insults Scythe
ABILITIES: All things that bring descrution, pain, and mayhem. And pretty much everything a "Master of Death" is known for, which mostly has to do with dealing with the dead.(A Shinigami/Grim Reaper, basically)
PERSONALITY: A total wiseass. Gig is bluntly honest about everything. If there's something or he doesn't like, he's not the least bit afraid to speak out his mind about it. He's definitely a lot smarter than he might seem, and will happily insult anyone to feed his own ego. And of course, agruing with someone that's the closest thing to a god isn't exactly the wisest thing to do anyway.

However when push turns into shove, Gig isn't really "all that bad", or at least not so much anymore. Despite almost destorying the world 200 years ago, he has changed a lot since then. Even though being trapped Revya all this time probably could be blamed for most of it, and regaining a few "old memories" back(but denies most of it). He's not anywhere as hostile as he once used to be, but still not a wise choice to piss off either.
BACKGROUND: ((SPOILERS LEIK WOAH))
Gig was the former controller of the World Eaters; Feinne, Thuris, and Raksha. Of which he used to cause a fullblown massacre on Haephnes and almost destoried everything. However at the climatic end of this war he was opposed by an old woman who went as Layna, and who miraculously enough was able to turn the tables and sealed Gig inside a black sword.

200 years later, that very same sword was given to Revya; and with Gig still in it. And as all part of Layna's plan, Gig was now infused into Revya's body now. It was a risky decision, but there was no one else alive to get rid of the World Eaters for good(which had been still around all these years, but for inactive for the most part). The only option there was was to give someone Gig's powers. There was just one large problem about it: If Revya used Gig too much, he would easily break free, fully take over Revya, and history was likely to repeat itself all over again.

More time went on, and luckly that problem never happened. And several shocking things happened along the way. Revya was actually a incarnation of Median's son who also died several centuries ago, "Layna" was actually Virtuous who was the Master of Life for Haephnes.. And Gig was formerly known as Vigilance, the Master of Death for Haephnes too, and with an almost complete opposite personality of what he has now(kind, gentle, always putting other people's needs before his own, etc). But he was killed by Median after a misunderstanding. It was Drazil that brought him back, however his soul was drastically changed and wrapped around to create the Gig we know now.

Although, Gig refuses to believe any of it is really true(even though it's a lost cause denying it). Mentioning anything to him about Vigilance and you might be risking loosing your head.

It was also discovered that Drazil was using the souls that Gig gathered 200 years ago to create a perfect "imperfect" world of his own. Which at the same time was causing Haephnes to slowly wither away to nothing. It wasn't long that the main objective was aimed at stopping Drazil and getting the souls back. Another large battle took place there, and was starting to turn bleak quickly.

It was then Revya finally allowed Gig to do whatever he could defeat Drazil, even fully aware that the outcome of it would bring. But instead, due to the fact that Gig actually felt pretty guilty for everything that happened, he promised to give Revya's body back after he was done with it. And sure enough, Gig defeated Drazil, Revya turned back to normal, and Gig mysteriously vanished.. assumingly destoried his own self in the progress.

And then it wasn't too long afterwards that Gig was resurrected a 2nd time now(if you count the Vigilance incident) but this time by Haephnes herself. And thus got his own body back and returned back to where everyone else was.

...... And now I just pretty much just very briefly summarized the whole Normal Path plot, go me =D!
